# Data sources

The sample finding on our homepage uses the Building TimeSeries (BTS) dataset, Site A, an anonymised building in Canberra: Prabowo, Lin, Razzak, Xue, Yap, Amos and Salim (2024). *BTS: Building Timeseries Dataset: Raw.* figshare, version 3. Dataset licensed under [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). We selected, resampled and aggregated streams and derived the run hours; occupied hours are an assumed schedule (weekdays 07:00 to 19:00, ACT public holidays off). AHU labels are ours. The dataset’s authors do not endorse Alv.

The page count on our homepage comes from the Medical-Dental Clinic test files, a real two-storey medical and dental clinic in the United States whose information was redacted before release: BSI (2020). *Medical-Dental Test Files.* buildingSMART International.
